However, still there are 72 million children who are left behind, having no chance to access school. Ha Noi, 7 June 2010: Donors and Government need to commit sufficient resources to new poverty reduction programmes which recognise the new poverty line and the need for greater investment per capita into the poorest communes. This is one of the key recommendations in a report released today by ActionAid and Oxfam prior to the midterm Consultative Group meeting to be organised in Kien Giang province on 9-10 June.
